This is an open sew studio class, with a teacher available for guidance and assistance. If it's your first time attending, we will help you pick a suitable project from a varied selection of patterns. In addition to access to the instructor, you will also find inspiration from your fellow students! Use our sewing machines, overlocks, and pressing equipment. Bring your project with instructions, basic sewing supplies, and join the fun! Studio sessions run full, if you are interested be sure to put your name on the waitlist and we will do our best to get you into a session.

If your child is interested in learning to sew, step #1 is learning all about the sewing machine! We will explore the parts of the machine, proper and safe usage, winding bobbins, threading the machine, and basic sewing operations. Our experience is that students that begin with an in-depth lesson on the sewing machine are more successful in our project-based classes - frustrations are eliminated as they have better control over the sewing machine. All supplies will be included. Classroom machines provided. Sat, 1/10, 10 AM - 12N or Wed, 2/18, 1 - 3 PM. Additional sessions for March and onward will be added soon!
